By opting into our SMS program, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy, our Privacy Policy, and our Terms and Conditions. Participation is voluntary and can be terminated at any time.
Purpose of SMS Messaging
We use SMS messaging to:
- Send transactional updates (e.g., ride confirmations, payment notifications, driver ETAs).
- Provide promotional offers, discounts, and marketing content (e.g., special ride deals, event invitations).
- Deliver customer service notifications (e.g., responses to inquiries, support updates).

- We use ride start/destination data to determine time zones accurately.
Content Guidelines
- Permitted Content:
- Transactional: Ride confirmations, payment receipts, driver arrival updates.
- Promotional: Discounts, special ride offers, referral incentives.
- Conversational: Responses to client inquiries.
- Prohibited Content:
- We adhere to CTIA guidelines and do not send messages containing:
- Sexually explicit content (S).
- Hate speech (H).
- Alcohol promotions without age verification (A).
- Firearms-related content (F).
- Tobacco or controlled substances (T) unless legally permitted and age-gated.
- Fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal content is strictly prohibited.
- Identification:
- Every message includes our business name (e.g., "MinnDrive: Your ride is confirmed...").
Data Privacy and Security

- We collect phone numbers via opt-in forms or SMS keyword responses.
